My personal Lyme Disease experience:
In the summer of 2006, I was at home mowing the yard. I happened to look down and noticed a tick on my stomach. Without thinking about the proper way to remove a tick, I pulled it off and kept mowing. After finishing up I went inside and started to feel a little “rough.” I sat down in my living room chair and had the most excruciating muscle pain in my legs. As the minutes went by, the pain began to creep all over my body. After an hour I could hardly move off my chair so I called my mother-in-law who at that time owned and operated Alternative Answers. She came to my house armed with all kinds of homeopathic remedies and herbals to test with me. After testing several remedies for bacteria and viruses with no solid leads I tested strong to a Des Bio Lyme kit. At this point it was apparent that I had been given a disease that was fast tracking itself into my body. We started the first vial from the Lyme kit, and within minutes my symptoms disappeared!
Fast forward roughly ten years and I’m working as a nutritionist trying to help a client who is struggling with Lyme. As I was studying the effects/symptoms of Lyme disease I realized I was still dealing with issues from my tick bite from 2006 as I was consistently dealing with left sided neurological symptoms headaches, brain fog, low energy, ect.
